From November 2 to 11, 2018, Gallery COMMON is pleased to present Juxtapose, Arrange, Compare, a solo exhibition by Portland-based Japanese artist Shohei Takasaki. This show marks Takasaki’s first exhibition in Japan in five years, and will feature around 20 new pieces created between 2017 and 2018. Takasaki’s new works explore various contrasting approaches to painting as he continues to experiment and challenge his own conceptual framework.
